I have been earning from the internet on and off for nearly decade and have had good times and bad.

I started as an ad typist at a time when one was paid not only for placing ads on classified ad and other advertising sites, but also for each instance that someone clicked on the ad, even if they didn't buy anything.  

During my first year online I was earning a regular income placing ads on the internet.  I took it for granted. 

I thought, "wow, this is easy!". :dude:  I truly did not appreciate how good that was!

But, of course, the internet marketplace keeps changing, websites and programs come and go, and no one was paying those high rates anymore just for clicking on ads.

Next, I sold Clickbank products, and had some success. But I soon realized that I wasn't going to retire on my Clickbank sales, at least not while dabbling at it during the spare 10 hours a week that I had to dedicate to the internet.  

Along came high yield investment sites. I never considered those as anything other than a sideline, a way to keep the cash flowing,  hopefully in the right direction. It didn't always work out that way.

If you think that high yield investment sites are the way to build your financial security, think again!   I was extremely lucky to stay afloat.
I was also juggling a few affiliate programs. We have all heard that we need multiple sources of income on the internet and not to put all our eggs into one basket, right? So that's what I did - diversified! I was in profit in some of them, but there came a point where I simply had too much on my plate. Finally, the penny dropped that I had to learn to focus and not spread myself too thin.

I knew the answer was out there and had to keep on searching.  Sound familiar?

In March 2006 I joined a business, which had been online since March 2005. I felt I had landed in a calm oasis of sanity and goodwill and mutual respect.  
I felt refreshed and energized by everything to do with that business, and its community, and fours years on, I continue to feel that way today. :D:D):D)

The business was later renamed the Online Business Alliance [OBA], and later when the TE Profits (TEP) marketing system was integrated, OBA-TEP.

OBA-TEP has evolved into an online business alliance based on ethical business practices and a wonderful community of people who understand that the secret of success is to build lasting relationships and help others.

Having the right focus is important. Trusting in the administration and the community, and being part of a spirit of generosity and teamwork are also essential elements for success in an internet business.  I felt I had come home and still feel that way today.
